Hill 16 Construction is a new company to the Bay area, with 15 years’ experience in mid to high range construction projects. The owner Paul Kavanagh, has qualified with honors as a Carpenter in the European standard-based apprenticeship, in Dublin, Ireland in 2004. His training includes Framing, Formwork, Finish, Roofing, Cabinetry and furniture making.

Paul has contracted large scale construction projects in Ireland where quality and speed are a necessity to keep projects on time and finished to a very high standard. Custom Carpentry work is our specialty and has been perfected through working in three Continents of the world where cultural and traditional methods have been adapted to our work.

In 2008 Paul and his wife, re-located to Melbourne, Australia. Here Paul was Foreman for a large Old Victorian construction project that finished three months ahead of schedule and below budget much to the delight of the main Contractor and the home-owners.

Since moving to the Bay-area in 2009 where his wife and daughter were born and raised, Paul has been involved in the Design, Construction and Finish of multi-million dollar, Custom homes. He has been involved in the building of these homes from the ''ground up" and also in the Electrical, Plumbing, and Roofing trades.

All interior and exterior work on these projects is unique and finished to the exact specifications of the client. Everything from the Framing to the Custom-Cabinets to the Painting is to the "highest standard."

Custom Furniture work includes Tables, Dressers, Chairs and even baby Cribs.

Traditional methods are used in Paul's furniture and all pieces are Hand-made.
